"Pile" is about being my own worst critic and at times comparing myself to other musicians. The pile is about me thinking it's a pile of burning trash and me doubting myself thinking I'm not good enough. My own inner critic can be quite loud at times especially when going through stress or grief. It's a bit ruthless and catches me off guard even when I'm feeling at my best. This EP is about ignoring that inner critic since it holds no weight in my life and doesn't serve me whatsoever. I hope this music helps people ignore their toxic inner critic and to always stay true to themselves.
